Hello everyone, today I am going to be reviewing something a little different in the forms of a self-tanning product brought to you by Vita Liberata – Tinted Lotion. I will be telling you what’s good and bad about this product and what is the best way for an even beautiful tan.
What is Fabulous Vita Liberata Self Tanning Tinted Lotion?
The one I’ve tried is a self-tanning tinted lotion in a medium. It gives a sun kissed glow a skin. It gives your skin an instant tan or helps to maintain an already tanned skin. It’s extremely nourishing to skin especially for people with dry skin. This tinted lotion lasts up to seven days and a quick drying on the skin. It doesn’t have a strong self-tan smell thanks to Odour Remove technology. It gives an instant natural looking colour making it easy to see where you have applied it already. It contains Shea Butter and Aloe Vera for long-lasting hydration and I fades perfectly. No streaks or stains!
What does it look like and how to apply a tinted lotion?
Vita Liberata Self-Tanning Tinted Lotion comes in a white tube-like bottle with a screw on bronze cap. The product itself is a dark bronze colour and has a gel like consistency. This product is smooth and easy to apply.
There is no need to apply moisture or moisturising shower lotions prior to applying this product. Apply to clean, exfoliated skin with a tanning mitt using long circular movements. Be careful not to apply too much lotion to the hands, feet and elbows. *Tip: I always let my skin dry and cool down after hot shower before applying any self-tan.

What do I like/dislike about this tinted lotion product?
What I love about this product is that it blends extremely well and is not sticky when applying. It dries almost instantaneously. I would always recommend using a mitt as this stops you from getting a product on your hands and in places you don’t want the product to be. Mitt also helps a lot to distribute the product evenly. I would also recommend that you use this product before going to bed so that the product can develop overnight. I’m not sure if this self-tan stains your bed linen, but I always wear something that would cover my body. I wear long-sleeve top and trousers.
Wash off in the morning and moisturise after bathing. This will allow you to have an all over even tan without looking fake. I found this also made the tan last longer and helped it to fade more evenly. I find tan always works better in a hydrated skin, so make sure that you are giving your skin all the moisture it needs by moisturising on a daily basis. And your tan will last longer!
Finally, If you want to build up your tan further I would recommend that you apply this lotion every other night as this allows your skin to absorb the product fully before applying another coat. After the second coat, I would wait four to five days before reapplying. This is for a more natural sun kissed look.
