Hello all, today I am going to be introducing you to another one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes – Soul eyeshadow palette by Stila.
What is Soul Eyeshadow Palette?
Stila came up with 4 different palettes within Eyes are the Windows range: Body, Mind, Soul and Spirit. Inspired by the spiritual idea that true beauty comes from within, each one has 12 luxurious eye shadows to enhance your inner beauty. Each palette contains a lookbook created by Stila’s Director of Global Artistry, Sarah Lucero, and is presented in an exquisite, jewellery-inspired compact of rose, yellow or white gold.
The one I own and reviewing today is Soul. It comes in a rose gold compact palate with a huge mirror. I love the colour and the packaging looks extremely luxurious. There are twelve shades ranging from pale pinks, browns and shimmering golds. It’s a mix of cool-toned and warm-toned mostly nude and brown shades in one palette. There are three formulas: matte (5 shades), shimmering (6 shades) and sparkly (*just 1 shade). What more could a girl want when picking an eyeshadow palette for an everyday makeup look!
How do you apply Soul Eyeshadow Palette?
I figured these eyeshadows may be applied both wet and dry. They work out absolutely stunning both ways. You may choose a wet application technique when you want shimmer to be more enhanced.
Apply eyeshadows dry: why not aim for a stunning day look. Soft and silky eyes by teaming the pale shades together.
Apply eyeshadows wet: for a bolder more dramatic look why not wet the colours for more of a high-intensity look. Use Mac Fix+ or any other setting spray with glycerin to enhance shimmer in the eyeshadows. Wet the brush with a couple of spritzes and apply eyeshadows as normal!
What do I like about this Soul Eyeshadow Palette?
I love the fact that the colours very versatile and will fit most skin tones. I love the way this compact has a huge mirror ideal for when you are travelling or on the go. There are many shades and formulas to choose from meaning that I never run out of different variations for my make-up looks. I find that the eyeshadows are super easy to blend and can easily be mixed together. The colours are very buttery and pigmented. The satin colours really do glow well. If you divide £30 by 12 shades, the price for 1 eyeshadow is only £2.5. I think it’s an amazing value for money considering there are 14.5g in total+mirror. Overall, I really love this product and would highly recommend it as a daily go to palette.
