Hot summer days in London are finished. Although we all struggled with unusual +35C, but I personally enjoyed the weather and took my time to create some relaxed summer outfits. Being in the city while it’s hot, it’s important to stay trendy, but don’t look like you are on holidays.
To make my outfit relaxed, but keep it street style, I went for a bermuda shorts instead of denim mini shorts. Denim mini shorts may look too vulgarly in the city. For the city choose bermuda shorts, wide leg shorts and culottes. I’ve decided to wear a silk white shirt instead of white top or t-shirt, because I aimed to make my look more elegant. I often roll sleeves to underline my tiny wrist. This trick will also make you waist look smaller.
Today’s look I’ve complimented with my favourite at the moment red tote bag by Zara Basics and striped lace-up espadrilles with straw sole, also by Zara Basics. I’m very pleased with Zara’s summer collection. I find myself wearing something from Zara every day now. For the accessorise, I went minimalistic and wore just one engraved Heart tag charm by Tiffany&Co, which has a special meaning to me 😉
What tricks do you use for relaxed summer outfits? How to make your outfit look elegant?
