New Launch: Pixi Clarity Collection

Yuliya Oleynykovaa] and Amanda Bell Pixi

Today I had a perfect start of the day because I spend my morning with beloved Amanda Bell (Pixi’s makeup artist) at Pixi’s Flagship store in London. Amanda has talked me through their newest line – Clarity Collection and, of course, we had some time to catch up and talk girl’s things because we massively missed each other during the lockdown!

Pixi Clarity Collection Review and What’s in it?

Pixi Clarity collection is the newest line of Skintreats created to control blemishes and minimize the appearance of pores for a cleaner, healthier complexion. The line consists of Clarity Cleanser, Clarity Tonic, Clarity Concentrate and Clarity Lotion. Even though I don’t always have breakouts and overall have healthy skin, I have experienced some breakouts lately due to wearing the face masks regularly. Therefore, I am excited to start using this collection to get my skin back to its usual state. This skincare collection is, of course, focusing on helping a congested skin, but is suitable for all skin types. There are a few acids used in the products, but the products are actually not harsh on the skin. Side note, Pixi recommends using SPF in the daytime, especially when using a product with AHAs. Let’s start!

What’s used in the Pixi Clarity Collection products to benefit your skin?

  • Salicylic Acid purifies, unclogs pores & removes excess oil
  • Glycolic Acid exfoliates, clarifies & reveals brighter skin
  • Lactic Acid gently renews, detoxifies & rehydrates
  • Probiotics protect & strengthen
  • Aloe Vera hydrates & soothes
  • Willow Bark Extract clears & reduces the appearance of pores
  • Ceramide NP provides time-release moisture
  • Kaolin absorbs oil & mattifies

Pixi Clarity Cleanser Review

Pixi Clarity Cleanser

Pixi Clarity Cleanser is a clarifying cleanser that hydrates while gently and effectively purifying pores, visibly minimizing breakouts. Salicylic, lactic and glycolic acids are used in this cleanser to help refresh and exfoliate probiotics balance and preserve. Even though, there are 3 acids in the Clarity Cleanser it’s not stripping, because there is also an Aloe Vera used in the formula. Use it daily or as needed.

How to use Pixi Clarity Cleanser?

• Step 1: Dampen your face and apply a coin-sized amount of Clarity Cleanser to your skin.
• Step 2: Massage the cleansing gel onto your skin in gentle circular motions.
• Step 3: Rinse off with water or remove with a moist face cloth.

Pixi Clarity Tonic Review

Pixi Clarity Tonic

Next product in the line (and used in your skincare routine) is Pixi Clarity Tonic. It’s a clarifying tonic with potent AHAs, Antioxidants and balancing Probiotics. It helps to clear skin and minimise the appearance of pores. What I love about Pixi tonics is that they come in two sizes – 250ml and 100ml. While 250ml is a perfect size for daily use, 100ml comes useful during travelling and to have in your handbag. Especially, on during the hot day (or date!) and while we all need to use face masks. It’s great to have the tonic in your handbag and refresh the skin when you want to clarify it.

Pixi Clarity Concentrate Review

Pixi Clarity Concentrate

Pixi Clarity Concentrate is an effective, water-based serum that helps minimise the look of pores, resulting in a clarifying effect. It quickly exfoliates, as well as hydrates and balances, helping to refine and promote an even skin tone for a smoother, less breakout-prone complexion. This serum has a very watery and light texture. It absorbs quickly into the skin. I have a feeling it also layers well with other products, so you can use it as an additional product to maximize the effect of the collection or other products you might have in your daily routine.

Pixi Clarity Lotion Review

Pixi Clarity Lotion

Pixi Clarity Lotion is a light-textured, water-based and oil-free formula that boosts hydration of the skin while minimising the appearance of pores and keeping complexion matte and shine-free. This moisturiser also contains Salicylic Acid and Kaolin, which draws out excess oils, but it also contains ceramides so that skin isn’t completely dried out. I have a feeling Clarity Lotion might not be for you if your skin is too dry. In this case, I suggest using it on the spots as a night treatment and wash off in the morning. But, if your skin is normal or oily, this lotion is going to be perfect! Use a coin size amount daily as a 4th step in your skincare routine after cleansing, toning and applying concentrate.
