Hi guys, do you know how to save on wardrobe? I know that all my readers love fashion and personal style. Many of you reach me out with a question on how can they be fashionable and stay trendy all the time without spending a fortune on their wardrobe!? Obviously, we all dream about enormous wardrobe and millions of pairs of shoes, bags, trendy clothes and accessories (*sunglasses will also do!)… but how can we afford it?
How to save on wardrobe?
Being a fashion and personal style blogger, I always try to stay in fashion and re-new my wardrobe with bits and pieces a couple of times a month.
But! I can only do it because I know how to save on wardrobe and how to find good bargains. I have been doing this for several years and almost became a pro on getting clothes and shoes in particular on sales. But sales are not the only option when it comes to savings.
Nowadays, there are many ways to get good deals on clothes: pre-owned luxury brand shops, second-hand shops, sales, promo codes and offers, charity shops, online shops selling pre-owned clothes/shoes/accessories, etc. It only depends on you, how smart you use these tools.
Fashion Outlet Shops
There are many pre-owned luxury brand shops in London and in major big cities. My favourite ones are Deuxieme on New Kings Road, The 2nd Look in Barnes and online shop The Outnet. In the past, I’ve made some successful purchases of Prada bag, Alexander Wang dress and Jimmy Choo shoes in these shops.
If you are a regular follower/reader of fashion blogs, you might have noticed that sometimes bloggers/YouTubers share their promo codes, which give you good discounts in the shop and, sometimes, even freebies. Keep an eye on these options and don’t forget to use promo codes at the checkout. It will save you money.
One of my favourite ways to buy/sell pre-owned clothes is Depop. Depop is an online market place, such as eBay or ASOS market place. You can easily download Depop and start using it straight away by creating a profile. Good thing about this app is that you don’t have to make bids and wait for your item. It’s much easier because you can contact the seller by sending a private message and ask them about the product details, condition and even negotiate the price. this platform gives you two paying options: PayPal and pays by card. I’d highly recommend you to pay via Paypal to protect your money and track the order.
Keep shopping and let me know if you managed to find any bargains. Let me know in the comments if you know any good places to buy clothes with a big discount. How do you save on wardrobe? Don’t forget to check my pre-loved clothes, shoes and accessories on Depop!
