A low level of self-#confidence can hold you back from living your life fully and full-filling your dreams. How do you boost your #selfconfidence level when you are already feeling low?
The answer is “by working on your self-confidence and #selfesteem.” Fear is usually what holds us back and working on a daily basis to overcome any of our fears is going to take hard work and dedication.
Self-confidence is #believinginyourself and when you are able to achieve that your goals and dreams will align.
CONTROL YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE
Improve your competence, self-image by taking concrete actions by yourself without the assistance of anyone else. This article will outline things that can help you do just that. These will not succeed by themselves nor is this list completely comprehensive.
Do not focus on trying to complete them all, it’s not a recipe to bake a cake, pick out the ones that stand out and give them a try first. If these don’t work, go back and pick out some others until you get what’s good for you.
KEEP YOURSELF GROOMED
Yes, this may sound obvious but you will be surprised at how a hot shower and getting dressed will change your mood and give you that self-confidence that had been lacking at that moment.
COME TO KNOW YOURSELF
If you don’t know what’s bothering you then you’re not going to be able to fix it. What are your limitations, dig deep and find out if these are limitations you put there or if they are real.
Don’t just say “I am going to be #positive today” you have to put that statement into actions. Talk to others in a positive way, show some #energy, be #enthusiastic and people will soon notice.
This goes hand in hand with grooming. If you are #dressing nicely you will #feelgreat about yourself. You will feel like you are able to take on the world and feel #successful in doing so. Dressing nicely does not always require top of the line apparel, it could also mean #casual clothing that is fresh looking, nice and presentable. Pair a cashmere sweater with dark jeans, put on some knee boots and top it off with a hat.
GET YOURSELF PREPARED
If you automatically think you’re not going to be able to do something well then you already are at a disadvantage. Think about that big mid-term you have studied weeks for, give yourself #confidence in saying, I’m going to do great, I studied and I will ace this.
When you are standing tall and not slouching you give off a sense of attraction. Tall standing people feel better about themselves and are more #confident in the things they do throughout the day.
Remember, starting small may be the way to go. As you continue to achieve these small #goals you will start feeling more confident and good about yourself. This will allow you to go on to set those bigger goals
