How to Get Rid of Inner Thigh Fat

The closer the summer, the more I think of ways to get rid of inner thigh fat. We all aware that excess and stubborn fat in particular body parts causes distress and creates uncertainty. Of course, you know this all too well if you have unattractive inner thigh fat.

How to Get Rid of Inner Thigh Fat

The good news is that thigh fat is subcutaneous and responds well to exercise and dietary adjustments. The bad news is that you have to come up with a plan, make sacrifices and be disciplined with your lifestyle choices going forward. I believe that the best approach is to go for a full body weight loss and do specific exercises and treatments for your inner thighs. So below are my suggestions on how to lose that unpleasant addition on your thighs and feel great.

Say YES to a Healthy Diet

First of all, develop a healthy diet. Eating clean is an essential part of losing fat. Even though fat reduction is a very complex process and requires a balanced lifestyle, you may achieve good results by just improving and maintaining your diet.

Developing healthy eating habits isn’t as confusing or as restrictive as many people imagine. The most important part is to choose foods derived from plants and limit highly processed foods. Easy! Increase the number of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and legumes (beans, peas, lentils) you consume. They are full of nutrients, minerals and vitamins. Also, eating lots of vegetables will keep you energised and help to lose fat.

Overall, eat fresh foods as much as possible and avoid boxed, bagged, and canned foods when you can. The latter have been processed and, most likely, sugar was added to compensate for the nutritional value that was lost during the process it took to preserve the food.

Spot Fat Reduction Isn’t a Myth Anymore!

The term “spot reduction” refers to burning fat stored in specific areas of the body (for example, abs, hips or arms). The body stores fat in response to two simultaneous events: an excess of calories intake and lack of physical activity. It begins to burn fat when the opposite happens. The only question is, will the body help you to improve your problem areas or will it burn fat from wherever it chooses?

The scientific consensus among fitness experts and researchers is that spot reduction is a myth. Moreover, studies largely show that it is not possible to reduce fat in one area by exercising that body part alone. Well, here’s some news for you: nowadays spot reduction does work.

Many women’s biggest concern is an inner thighs fat. Being one of them and having conducted a thorough research on this topic, I have found a New York Laser Clinic in London that offers a couple of spot fat reduction treatments. Since the inner thigh fat is a very stubborn area for me, I have decided to try both treatments in order to achieve the best results.

By the way, these treatments work well on all problematic areas. So, you can perfect your thighs, stomach, arms or buttocks and even more.

Cryolipolysis Fat Freezing Treatments

Cryolipolysis is a medical cellulite treatment used to destroy fat cells.  Its principle relies on controlled cooling to near 4° Celsius (approx. 39° Fahrenheit) for the non-invasive localised reduction of fat deposits in order to reshape body contours. The therapist said that only one treatment is needed to fight stubborn fat. The full result will come in 2 month time.

3D Lipomed Body Treatment

The second treatment I found is 3D Lipomed. It is a procedure that helps to get rid of fat in the body. Combining Cavitation, Radio Frequency & Dermology is a powerful and revolutionary new approach to liposuction which does not involve surgery. 3D Lipomed reduces body fat by destroying fat cells instead of merely breaking them up and releasing them into the body.

You will need to undergo a course of 6-8 3DLipoMed sessions to achieve the best results. There is no pain what so ever, which is definitely a plus! The only sensation you will feel is warmth. It is actually (and surprisingly) very relaxing.

Exercise to Burn Fat on Thighs

So that was a good news. the bad news (for some) is that you still will have to exercise to get rid of inner thigh fat. But it does not mean that from now on you have to live in a gym. I truly believe that you should choose a type of sport that makes you feel good. This will help you to come back to it often, feel relaxed and motivated. No need to struggle, sweat or exhaust yourself if you hate it.

For example, I love swimming and walking. To burn an inner thigh fat I would recommend walking fast or swimming actively for about 30-40 minutes. This will make you both energised and happy.

Drink Enough Water

Once you developed a healthy diet, started exercising and maybe tried the fat reduction treatments you will need to help your body to detoxify. When you eat clean and are active, your body starts to get rid of toxins and impurities. Moreover, water is so beneficial, so easy, so accessible yet so easily overlooked. It’s really a no-brainer (actually your brain is 90% water!!!). Your body is about 70% water, the majority of your blood and every cell in your body is composed of water. Therefore, you need water to function properly. Drink about 30ml of water for every kilogramme of your weight every day – stay hydrated! And help your body to get rid of that bad stuff.

‘Think of water as a nutrient your body needs that is present in liquids, plain water, and foods. All of these are essential daily to replace the large amounts of water lost each day,’ says Joan Koelemay, RD, dietitian for the Beverage Institute, an industry group.

Love Yourself

You have to love yourself on bad days too. Same for when you don’t like your appearance or don’t feel healthy. The imperfections in the body should not make you stressed or depressed. They have to motivate you to improve yourself and the lifestyle you choose. Loving yourself starts from inside and shows outside. Think about the food you eat, the lifestyle you lead. Maybe you should add some colourful food to your diet or spend more time outdoors, stay in bed a bit longer on weekends and take it easy. Think of what you can do to improve your overall being.

Once you have learnt how to love yourself, it will be easier for you to understand your body, change it, slim a little bit and make healthier choices every time!

I love to workout, but I have been soooo bad at doing free weights. I keep going to classes, but I used to do weight training and have 2 leg days a week, while doing extra cardio on the side. You just reminded me to drink more water too. I’m the worst at that. I only drink when I workout. lol You look amazing. Great tips.
