6 Beauty Boosting Supplements I Take

best beauty supplements

Hi guys, today I’d like to tell you about the best beauty supplements in my opinion. I’m not a doctor and this is purely based on my own experience and preferences. If you are interested to see what beauty supplements I rate for boosting my hair, skin, and nails beauty and strength just keep on reading!

Best Beauty Supplements That Work For Me

I want to make a little disclosure before we start. I feel like any healthy lifestyle supplements are a matter of a personal choice. In addition to this, it’s recommended to see a doctor and get a professional advice before taking any supplements. Food or diet supplements must not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. For me, it’s not a huge deal, so I just buy vitamins based on my friend’s recommendations or Youtube reviews. But maybe, it won’t be a bad idea to see a doctor first. Anyway, let’s begin!

vitamin c and rose hips benefits

Vitamin C and Rose Hips

Vitamin C is incorporated into the processes in the body so as to prevent vascular fragility and permeability of the walls, thereby preventing gingival bleeding, internal bleeding, the occurrence of vascular networks, increases vascular elasticity. It’s no secret that in order to boost the body’s defences and reduce the likelihood of many diseases, we need to consume vitamin C. In fact, it has a beneficial effect on the function of the central nervous system, stimulates the endocrine glands, promotes better absorption of iron and normal blood formation. Large dose pills are useful for heavy smokers, women using contraception, for the elderly and athletes. It should be noted that vitamin C – is also a powerful antioxidant. It’s a great immune system support!

iron vitamin benefits

Iron and Vitamin Tablets

The next supplement I like is Floradix tablets. They contain iron, vitamin B1, B2, niacin, B6, B12, C, folic acid and herbal extracts. I was recommended to buy these vitamins by my sister. Living in fast and busy London is very stressful for me. I’m always on the go – meeting people, visiting press days, creating content constantly not to mention that I’m also a director of Ltd company. London is very competitive and pushy. It’s almost impossible to have a life-work balance here, unfortunately. So I need something to give me energy. Otherwise, you won’t see anywhere near as much and useful content on my blog. Iron, one of the components, of Floradix, contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

boots collagen tablets review

Collagen to maintaining youthful skin

Skin firming Collagen helps to support elasticity and shields the skin against visible signs of ageing. So basically, collagen – a substance that fills the space between the muscle fibers and cells of most organs. It is our ligaments and tendons, skin cells on the surface and in the space between. Collagen accounts for 70 percent of skin protein 35 percent of body protein. In the process of ageing collagen fibers lose their moisture. This is clearly visible on the skin around the mouth, forehead, and eyes. Because of this, we start to see the appearance of the first wrinkles. Yes, I understand I’m not 40 and shouldn’t be too crazy about it, maybe. But equally as I mentioned before, the environment I leave in is stressful, polluted and busy. So I prefer to take an extra step in my best beauty supplements routine to help my skin out rather than age quicker than I would be leaving in a village. The one I use is a Boots branded one, Beauty From Within Collagen. I’ve decided to go for it because it was one of the most affordable options.

hyaluronic acid supplements uk

Hyaluronic Acid plumping radiance booster

Water-loving Hyaluronic Acid helps to keep skin looking plump, toned and radiant. Hyaluronic acid is an important structural element of the skin. It is believed that the main function of hyaluronic acid is water binding. Many of us know that our bodies are built from water mostly. So basically hyaluronic acid helps skin to maintain hydrated by keeping the moisture. I need to mention though that it’s not enough to only take only  a pill a day! You have to increase a consumption of water you drink daily and decrease an amount of sweets you eat. (*I’m working on a sweets part at the moment). I don’t know the exact science behind it, but I’ve heard that sugars destroy hyaluronic acid. So the less hyaluronic acid cells we have in the body, the less moisture can be kept I believe. That’s why less sugar+more water+hyaluronic acid won the place in my best beauty supplements selection!

the beauty molecule review

The Beauty Molecule

Specially formulated to promote health, youth, and longevity, Fountain The Beauty Molecule is a concentrated beauty supplement that will keep you feeling healthy and youthful both on the inside and the out. Some people believe that vitamins in a liquid form are the best when it comes to absorption. I can see the reason behind it and decided to include this beauty supplement in my top 6 beauty boosting supplements chart. You only have to take 1 teaspoon a day  and it promises to keep you healthy, energised and youth. I have to mention, that this supplement is very bitter. So what I do is I swallow a teaspoon of this molecule quick and drink a generous amount of lemon water after. It helps a little!

organic wheatgrass powder health benefits

Organic Wheatgrass Powder for the Quick Detox

So, I wanted to finish my beast beauty supplements and vitamins blog post by saying that detoxifying and nourishing our bodies properly is a key to staying healthy. That’s why I always recommend to my friends and family to drinking a lot of water. Trust me, water can make your skin glow so well! Water is essential to maintain general health and youthful skin, full hair and strong nails. One more essential thing is detox. Considering the environment we live in nowadays and a quality of food we eat, I truly believe we have to take extra care of our bodies. What I like to do is to drink a freshly squeezed green vegetable juice every day. I add a full spoon of Naturya wheatgrass powder in it to increase a detoxifying effect. I recommend to watch Fat Sick and Nearly Dead to understand more about detox and why vegetable juices are so important.

Great post. I don’t really use beauty boosting supplements, but I do like to take omega 3 (as I’m allergic to fish) and I think it is good for hydration too. I have heard good things about the Fountain beauty molecule though so that could be worth trying and I would definitely consider the wheatgrass powder 🙂
